Recommended actions

The following recommended actions are intended as guidance and inspiration for possible measures to support the implementation of the charter. This list is not exhaustive, and each organization is free to adapt these suggestions as it sees fit or to develop its own measures.
Additional ideas are welcome and may be submitted to SOGI (Diversity Working Group), which will be pleased to publish them on this page.

1. Diversity in Recruitment and Hiring

Organizations actively strive to build a diverse workforce, particularly in early talent development, the recruitment of interns, and the attraction of career changers.

General Principles

Design application platforms and processes to be accessible to all (e.g. also for people with disabilities)

  • Inclusive Job Advertisements
  • Use open and inclusive wording wherever possible
  • Avoid unconscious barriers
  • Offer inclusive employment conditions
  • Use inclusive, gender-neutral language
  • Provide accessible formats
  • Explicitly address diversity

Avoiding Bias in Selection

  • Anonymize personal data
  • Focus on qualifications and competencies
  • Consider diverse target groups in the selection process

Representative Interviews

  • Ensure flexibility in interview formats
  • Include diverse selection panels

2. Inclusion in the Workplace

Organizations ensure a respectful working environment and recognize diversity by respecting, valuing, and promoting individual talents. Regular training on diversity, inclusion, and conflict management fosters shared understanding and awareness.
